Robotboy
Chuck out your cyborgs and terminate your Transformers – there’s a new super-bot in town. Robotboy is the most hi-tech, cutting-edge, butt-kicking battle-bot in the world who has the ability to think and feel like a real boy.

Created by world-famous scientist Professor Moshimo, Robotboy is the most powerful fighting machine ever built but unfortunately a dim-witted ‘evil genius’ called Dr. Kamikazi wants to use him to take over the world.

To protect him, the Prof packs Robotboy off to his number one fan, Tommy Turnbull, who helps him discover what it means to be a real boy… even if he is constantly under attack from Dr. Kamikazi and his army of killer mutant clones.

Robotboy
Robotboy is a butt-kicking super-robot with three distinct modes: Deactivated, Activated and Superactivated. An inquisitive bot, he would like to be a normal boy but he needs to learn a lot about human behaviour first.

Besides his tremendous butt-kickingability, Robotboy’s main characteristic is his innocence and he is easily led into trouble. Like all kids, Robotboy has the capability of feeling negative emotions but he is extremely loyal and his fearlessness helps him protect his friends from harm.

Tommy
10-year-old Tommy is a smart, sensitive and likeable kid who is into video games, comics and, most of all, action figures. Even before Robotboy came along, he was a huge robot fan. Tommy is cautious and a bit of a worrier and feels responsible for keeping Robotboy out of trouble. He’s a best friend and mentor to Robotboy and tries to teach him the ways of the boy world.

Dwight & Deb
Dwight and Deb Turnbull are Tommy’s parents. Dwight runs a sports store and Deb is a librarian in charge of the town’s bookmobile. Their work means that Tommy is often alone in the house after school or left in the care of his sadistic older brother Donnie.

Dwight would like Tommy to be more into sports but Deb is more concerned that their son is happy and, preferably, well-read. Deb enjoys reading and looks to books for the solution to any problem. Dwight never wants to read – he likes TV.

Donnie
Tommy’s brother is a 13-year-old bully. He likes to tease Tommy and torment him in any way he can, usually by messing with his action figure collection.

Sometimes, when Donnie goes too far, Robotboy will find a way to sneakily humiliate him, like melting his belt buckle to make his trousers to fall down.

Gus
Gus – or the “G-Man”, as he likes to be known - is overweight, weak-willed, pathetic, neurotic and selfish but totally irresistible. Full of half-baked ideas to get what he wants, his pranks usually blow up in his face - although he’ll always blame someone else.

Outwardly arrogant and egotistical, 10-year-old Gus is really a coward. He’s always trying to bribe Robotboy into fighting the bullies who tease him, so he’s always suspect number one whenever Robotboy goes missing.

Jebediah & Hester
Gus’ parents, Jebediah and Hester Bachman-Turner are old, strict and morally upright parents, whose self-discipline is a complete contrast to their son’s behaviour.

Gus acts completely differently whenever he’s around them - well behaved and respectful – but as soon as he’s out of their sight he cuts loose and becomes his true mischievous self.

Lola
10-year-old Lola is confident, educated and smart. The daughter of a wealthy African diplomat, her parents are often jet setting around the world, leaving Lola to be minded by their attentive household staff. She is secretly in love with Tommy.

Professor Moshimo
Professor Moshimo is a bit of an enigma and tries to remain out of sight so Dr. Kamikazi does not force him to create another cutting-edge, butt-kicking super-robot like Robotboy. As a result, the Professor and Miu Miu, his beautiful and brilliant mute lab assistant, have been forced to go into hiding and are always on the move.

Tommy is able to contact Moshimo via his wristwatch in emergencies and he’s always happy to help. However it’s risky because Kamikazi can intercept the signal and pinpoint the Professor’s location.

VILLAINS

Dr. Kamikazi
Dr. Kamikazi is not a doctor - or a very good villain - but this quirky little man is determined to turn Earth into his own empire, ‘Kaziland’. He wants to kidnap Robotboy so he can copy his design and create an army of super-bots to help him take over the world.

Kamikaze lives on a high-tech island and has limitless cash and techno-wizardry. He will only eat tapas and keeps a collection of exotic and dangerous pets that sometimes attack him.

Constantine
Dr. Kamikazi’s number one henchman is Constantine. He may look threatening but he’s a very gentle and sensitive soul who cries at movies. He’s also a wonderful tapas chef.
