Ozzy & Drix are bacteria-busters on a mission.
Ozzy, an egocentric blood cell with a goatee beard and Drix, a cold capsule with a conscience are here for one reason and one reason alone – to kick biological butt!
Co-habiting inside the body of thirteen year-old-Hector, Ozzy & Drix are determined to do everything it takes to keep Hector healthy. Unfortunately living inside the body of a teenager is as difficult as it sounds and the maverick methods employed by Ozzy mean that Hector’s bodily fluids rarely run smoothly.
Already cell-ebrities in their own right after starring in hit Hollywood movie ‘Osmosis Jones’, the partners in slime are back in this brand new spin-off series that is sure to have you laughing your guts up!
Fast-acting, smooth-talking white blood cell, Osmosis Jones is the self-proclaimed ‘No.1 Germinator’ in town’. Despite being microscopic in size Ozzy’s personality is larger than life – and so is his ego!
With his own Private Eye offices set up behind Hector’s left retina, Ozzy is able to keep watch on Hector’s daily shenanigans ensuring that no bacterial invasion is overlooked.
Eager to impress the authorities and the ladies Ozzy rarely connects his brawn to his brain. Acting first and thinking later the all-too-cool dude generally ends up straight in the nucleus of the action and straight up the noses of the ever-frustrated senior officers!
Deep down inside however, Ozzy is just a cool blue nucleus with a truck-load of attitude and a goatee beard, trying his best to keep Hector healthy and himself out of mischief.
Whilst Ozzy is a guru in what-is-hot, Drix is a definite follower of what-is-not. As fashion conscious as a pair of luminous yellow cycling shorts, Drix can dictate what is uncool just by saying that he likes it – which by definition is not a trendy trait to have.
Whilst Drix looks like a pill on the outside, his gadget-packed medicine chest and powerful propulsion make him pumped-up and super-charged on the inside.
Unlike his hot-headed partner Ozzy, the oversized Drix has a strong and relatively silent approach to crime fighting, relying on his dependable partner to coax him out of his shell when a situation demands it.
Hector is your average 13-year-old boy whose crazy antics keep Ozzy & Drix and the rest of the defence team working overtime.
Hector is trying his hardest to be the hippest most happenin’ teen in town as he enters the all-important teenage transitional stage. And with Hector preoccupied over whether he’s going to be promoted to cool dude status or demoted to the rank of social outcast a healthy body is the last thing on his mind!
Chocked full of typical teenage angst and growing pains, not to mention a truckload of junk food Ozzy & Drix have got their work cut out helping Hector on a cellular level.
As head of the Hector Police Department (HPD) it is up to grumpy Chief Gluteus to make sure his team protects Hector from the ravages of the evil germs.
Chief Gluteus thinks that Ozzy & Drix are more of a hindrance than a help and claims that the prankish pair are good for nothing but undermining his authority. Gluteus believes that if Ozzy & Drix want to make a splash in Hector’s body they should be flushed out of his bottom.
The same age as Hector, the elected leader of the City of Hector, Mayor Spryman has responsibility beyond his years. Fighting off the likes of scarlet fever, lice and nasty bouts of acne Mayor Spryman has the burden of Hector‘s life and the livelihood of the city bearing down on him - and he’s still just a teenager!
Despite being keen to do the right thing, Spryman is totally inexperienced, relying too much on the dubious guidance of his bumbling advisors. The last thing the busy Mayor needs is Ozzy & Drix butting in and busting things up!
However, Mayor Spryman has to admit that the unorthodox methods of the pesky pair often get the best results, he just wishes they wouldn’t destroy so much of the city in the process!
