NEWS FLASH: NEW SHOW
KING ARTHUR TAKE OVER CARTOON NETWORK IN OCTOBER
ADD DATE & COUNTRY: King Arthur’s Disasters is an all-new comedy animation hitting Cartoon Network this October and one that cleverly turns the legend on its head and shows a whole new side to this much loved English hero.
The main characters in the show include King Arthur who is a self-centred, over-confident and impetuous, the long suffering confidant Merlin, the spoilt medieval ‘It Girl’ Guinevere, and we must not forget his vain opponent Sir Launcelot.
Guinevere fully encompassed the word ‘Princess’. Her only amusement in life is to manipulate King Arthur who she knows is obsessed with her and will risk life and limb to fulfil her every passing fancy. Each episode sees our egotistical hero Arthur embarking on another epic adventure in a bid to win Guinevere’s love.
The King’s trusted friend and loyal servant Merlin must accompany him on these adventures and tries to discourage Arthur from embarking on yet another dangerous, pointless, Guinevere-inspired quest by predicting ever-more perilous fates for the pair of them – but he never manages to talk the King out if it.
Meanwhile, Sir Launcelot believes he is the true King of England and spends his time plotting Arthur’s grisly downfall.
Tune in for this fantastic new show to Cartoon Network on Monday 3rd October at 12:20 GMT for a guaranteed giggle.
