Tyson is the cool head in charge of the hottest beyblading gang in the world, the Bladebreakers. For a sporting hero Tyson is a touch on the clumsy side but his beyblading prowess and unrivalled organisational skills show that he is a born leader and sure to reach the top beyblading accolades with the help of his trusty bitbeast, Dragoon.
The man with all the braincells and the megabytes, Kenny is never without his trusty laptop or the answer to a tricky question on Beyblading statistics. Despite steering clear of the arena, Kenny is one of the key members of the Bladebreakers providing the gang with essential, top secret tactical info. Because he doesn’t battle it out in the arena, Kenny has a very special Bit Beast that lives inside his laptop and gains insider knowledge on all the other Bit Beasts.
Though he is Tyson’s best friend Max’s Beyblading style couldn’t be more different. With his Bit Beast, Draciel, Max employs defensive moves and cunning strategies that even out the odds against larger opponents. Bright and cheerful, Max rarely seems to get downhearted and is always there for Tyson with an encouraging word when one is needed.
Cool, calm and collected, Kai has been Beyblading for longer than young Tyson and is a true master. The two met after a thrilling face-off where Tyson almost lost his beloved Bit Beast to Kai but since then the two have become team-mates as well as firm friends and have a mutual respect for each other. With his Bit Beast, Dranzer, Kai is a vicious fighter who usually ends his battles quickly and victorious.

*A Beystadium is the name of the venue that Beyblading competitions are held at, they exist all over the world and there are many different championship titles (similar to football).
* Beyblade is all about a group of kids who battle each other around the world in Beyblade tournaments, which are held in Beystadiums.
* All Beyblades are different and have rankings based on attributes such as strength, durablitly, attack, defence etc.
* Each Beyblade has an individual name and contains a spirit (Bit Beast) with unique powers. The Bit Beasts come out during battle and utilize their unique power to win the battle.
* Beybladers gain tournament points for how well they do in the competitions.
* The good guys are called the Bladebreakers and are headed by Tyson.
* Tyson is aided by a computer whizkid called Kenny, who with the aid of his Bit Beast Dizzi (who is trapped inside his laptop) can analyze the attributes of the opposition.
* The other main members of the Bladebreakers gang are called Max and Ray.
* There are a number of gangs of bad guys but the main one is called the Shell Sharks. |
