Welcome to the whimsical world of Ducktown where life is good, food is plentiful and the ducks never fly south for the winter. However as with all norms, there’s always one bird that breaks them and in this case it’s Bill.
The incredibly endearing but entirely misunderstood Bill waddles to a different beat. Constantly contemplating the great mysteries of life like, “Why can’t I fly?” and “Can ducks get goosebumps?” he really isn’t your average duck. But it’s Bill’s unlikely friendship with an alligator called Aldo that creates most of Bill’s problems and also his incredible adventures.
Bill’s neighbours in the idyllic Ducktown, Ed, Oly and Wade have accepted the mismatched friendship of Bill and Aldo and often drag them into their own capers. However in this alligator-eat-duck world Aldo’s pals are not so accommodating and Bill is a big secret from the gators in Swampwood, where gators are more interested in ducks as snacks than quacking new friends.
Character descriptions Bill the Duck
Bill is a big-hearted duck who, through his friendship with Aldo, learns that Alligators like him are not always bad.
Aldo the Aligator
Aldo is Bill's best friend and they can usually be found together. When Aldo learns that ducks can be good friends rather than good food he starts eating chicken instead. Aldo is very protective over his duck friend, Bill.
Bev
The owner of the Decoy Cafe in Ducktown, most ducks refer to Bev as the 'hot chick'. Bev can usually be found inside the Decoy Cafe serving hungry ducks and learns also that alligators aren't half bad at all.
Cecil
Cecil is the dentist of Ducktown. Despite ducks not having any teeth, if someone has a toothache he can fix it in a nippy. Cecil is very nice and is always friendly to anyone he meets even if it has to be an alligator.
Claire
Claire is Cecil's wife. She is very pollite and helps a lot of people around Ducktown. The thing that scares Claire the most are alligators but she is always there to support her friends if they need her.
Ed
Ed is Oly and Waddle's older brother. Ed tends to think that he is the best at everything and makes bets to try and prove this. Ed is very smart even though sometimes he makes stupid decisions.
Oly
Oly is the artist of Ducktown. is head, he always tries to stay out of trouble with his two brothers. Oly is probably the most politest out of Ed and Waddle.
Waddle
Waddle is the dumb-witted younger brother of Ed and Oly. He loves milkshakes and loves to eat. Waddle is not very bright and gets his brothers into trouble all the time.
Raoul
Raoul is a trouble-making, Spanish-talking crow who hangs around Ducktown. Greedy Raoul is mad about money and goes crazy when people talk about money.
Fred
Fred is the only penguin in Ducktown. He gets very excited about little things and can usually be found inside his apartment watching television. Sometimes he wishes that there were more penguins in Ducktown.
