Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends
Welcome to Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, the finest place for an imaginary friend to go when its service is no longer required.

When eight-year-old Mac is told by his Mum to ditch Bloo, his best buddy in the whole wide world and the funniest imaginary pal a boy could dream of, he decides to take him to the weirdest most wonderful place he can think of - Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.

Inhabited by some of the most bizarre creatures that you could imagine with some of the strangest personalities, there is always mischief occurring somewhere in the funhouse and Bloo is almost always smack bang in the middle of it.

Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends is a vast Victorian mansion created by the adorably dithery Madame Foster to be a funhouse for redundant pals to stay and play whilst they wait for a new friend to come and adopt them.

Although it is not in the rulebook to let real boys and girls roam around the house, the highbrowed and harebrained housekeeper, Mr Herriman, who incidentally happens to be an old imaginary friend of Madame Foster’s, is happy to let Mac visit his beloved Bloo whenever he likes and Mme Foster has promised Bloo will never ever be re-fostered to another new boy or girl.

Let the imaginary fun begin…

Mac
Mac is your average 8-year-old boy, apart from the fact he likes homework and spends most of his time hanging out with an imaginary troublemaker called Bloo, at a home for imaginary friends.
Mac is always being forced into silly schemes and not-so-good ideas by Bloo and is always the one who prevents his small-scale disasters from becoming full-blown, apocalyptic events.
Although Mac seems pretty straight-laced, there’s more going on under those shaggy, brown locks than meets the eye. After all, he did imagine Bloo...

Bloo
Blooregard Q. Kazoo is the best Imaginary Friend ever, or so he’d like to believe. Sure, he’s charming, but he’s got a bit of an ego problem and to call him self-absorbed would be an understatement. Although Bloo is not out to cause trouble it seems to follow him wherever he goes, not because he's incapable of making the right decisions but because it’s so much more fun to make the wrong ones.
The blissfully oblivious blue blob is always ready to drag his best friend, Mac, and the rest of the Foster’s gang on any ludicrous, ill-fated and potentially criminal adventure. But no matter how much mayhem Bloo unleashes on the house, he’s always forgiven, he’s just too much fun to be around.

Wilt
The one armed Wilt is very, very, very tall and very, very, very nice. There’s nothing Wilt wouldn’t do for a friend or a close enemy and he is never happier than when he is lending a helping hand, in fact rumour has it that he gave his right arm to help somebody, which is why he no longer has it.
Wilt wouldn’t hesitate in offering his one good arm and a leg or two to help out and if his courteous and sunny disposition doesn’t win you over, he’s more than willing to apologize for any inconvenience his good nature might have caused.

Eduardo
With his sharp fangs, fearsome horns and skull-shaped belt buckle, Eduardo looks quite the menacing monster. But in sur-reality, he’s the sweetest Imaginary Friend you’d ever imagine. With the curious demeanor of a 4-year-old, this gentle giant wouldn’t hurt a fly. In fact, he’s quite scared of them. Come to think of it, he’s scared of everything: loud noises, cars, falling leaves etc. But if his friends are in trouble, this oversized scaredy-cat will forget his fears and explode into a fiery rage to protect them.

Coco
Coco is, well… a little off key… OK, she’s absolutely crazy. She speaks entirely in her own language (based solely on variations of the word “coco”) and runs around the house laying colorful plastic eggs with surprise fillings.
Despite the fact that Coco seems to live in a world of her own, she is frequently the one that comes up with ingenious solutions to the Gang’s problems.

Madame Foster
As the matriarch of the home, Madame Foster has nothing but pure, unyielding love for all Imaginary Friends. And all Imaginary Friends love her. She’s the ultimate surrogate Granny: incredibly kind, unselfishly caring and delightfully dithery. Madame Foster may be getting older on the outside but looks can be deceiving.

Mr. Herriman
Mr. Herriman was imagined by Madame Foster when she was just a little girl. Incredibly proper and well-organized, the bunny from a bygone era oversees the daily operations of the house. A rigid taskmaster, Herriman expects nothing but perfection from the staff and residents of Foster’s. He has zero tolerance for shenanigans, and anyone who violates his strict code of conduct will most certainly pay the ultimate price – a long-winded, reprimanding session in his office.

Frankie
Frankie Foster is Madame Foster’s 22-year-old granddaughter and the engine that keeps Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends running. Sometimes an authority figure, sometimes a partner in crime, Frankie is like a big sister to the Imaginary Friends, and it’s up to her take care of them. She cooks, she cleans, she bathes and grooms.
Although the childish demands and constant work can get a bit frustrating, Frankie is a firm believer in the plight of the Imaginary Friends and is happy to help her gran’s cause.

Duchess
Her Royal Duchess Diamond Persnickety the First, Last, and Only is what the kinder Foster’s residents might politely refer to as “high-maintenance.” In truth, she’s a stuck-up, snooty, royal pain whose expensive tastes and unreasonable demands make life miserable for everybody in the house. Duchess fancies herself as a work of art – a pedigree in a house full of mutts. She wants nothing more than to quit “slumming it” at Foster’s but has yet to find an adoptive family that meets her exceedingly high standards.

Terrence
Terrence is Mac’s 13-year-old big brother, a pimply-faced punk with a mean mullet and a low IQ. Specializing in rope burns, noogies and wedgies, there’s nothing Terrence loves more than ruining Mac and Bloo’s fun and he dedicates all of his dastardly efforts to doing it.
