Chaotic antics at a Junior High School, that has a phantom-like former student who has vowed revenge on the school's students after he failed a test.

The story follows the adventures of the children at Flying Rhino Junior High, a school that’s not as ordinary as it first appears. The villain of the piece is the “phantom of the auditorium”, Earl P. Sidebottom, a straight ‘A’ student who went to pieces when he received his first ‘D’ grade and now resides in the school basement, where with the aid of his computer and massive brain power, he plans revenge, inflicting strange weather, insect plagues and even dinosaurs on his victims.
